The search for a convicted joyrider from Brynmawr is underway after he was recalled to prison for breaching his license conditions.

31-year-old Steven Howells, is wanted once again having previously been released from prison for his offences. He had been serving time for the aggravated taking of a motor vehicle without consent, dangerous driving and causing injury or damage.

Those offences had also placed Howells in breach of a suspended sentence handed down for the burglary of a petrol station in Crickhowell. Read that story by clicking here.

“Due to the fact that he breached his licence conditions he has now been recalled to prison,” a spokesperson for Gwent Police said.
