BOOSTED by a match-day sponsor for the first time this season, in the form of surehomes estate agency, and spurred on by strong vocal support from the crowd of two hundred plus,, Town reached the quarter finals of the FAW Trophy.

Craig Norman settled any early nerves when he netted after 17 minutes, and although Town were mainly in charge they didn't score again in the first half.

Five minutes after the re-start though, this changed when Marvels' keeper, Bailey could only parry a Dean Morgan strike, and Dan Jenkins raced in to net the rebound. Jamie Laurent added another half-way through the half, when he chipped Bailey.

By now, Marvels who had cruised through their previous round with a convincing 9-0 win had little to offer, and substitute Jake Heckles put the icing on the cake, firing home in the dying moments, with the Marvels defence in dis-array.

The surehomes estate agency Man of the Match for Town was Jamie Summers.

Town will now face the 'railway men' of Llandudno Junction FC away in the Quarter Final of the FAW Trophy. Why not spend a day by the seaside and lend your support when Town battle to reach the semis on Saturday, February 21.

This Saturday, Town return to league duty, as their grip on the championship grows ever tighter, and they take their campaign away to Marshfield (2pm).
