THE Monmouthshire Croquet and Lawn Tennis Club Annual Open Tennis Tournament took place at Penpergwm last weekend with over 70 competitors attending.

The Singles were played on Friday afternoon and the Mixed Doubles on Saturday, then the Mens and Ladies Doubles on Sunday.

There was a particularly high standard of play in the Mens singles and Mens Doubles.

The plate tournaments were also fiercely competitive with many long rallies and tie-break finishes.
