CROSS Ash’s Hallam Amos came on as a second-half replacement in Wales’ 26-15 victory against Italy in Saturday’s (9th February) Six Nations rugby clash.
It was 24-year-old Hallam’s 19th Test cap for Wales and his second Six Nations appearance.
The former Monmouth School for Boys’ Head Boy, who made his Test debut against Tonga in 2013, joined the fray at full-back in the 68th minute of Wales’ hard-fought win in Rome.
Hallam, who can also play on the wing, has a skill set made for Test level rugby and will be hoping to keep his place in Wales’ squad for the showdown with England in Cardiff on Saturday, February 23 (4.45pm kick off).
