TRIPLE world championship winning kick boxer Dylan Ruck was head over heels after acquiring his black belt in late May.
The 13-year-old KHS Abergavenny pupil has had a prolific ten months.
Last September a 12-year-old Ruck competed in the WMAC World Games in Switzerland, and took
gold in K1 under 12s and bronze in light contact.
Ruck upped the ante in November and took home two titles of Grand champion in the mat continuous and ring categories at the Lordswood tri series.
Ruck began 2018 with a bang when he took gold in the - 45kg continuous category to become WMO Nationals champion. He has also been selected to represent Wales in the WMO World Championships later this year in Portugal.
In March, whilst still aged 12, he competed at CIMAC and took a silver in low kick in the -45kg, 13-16 years category.
All in all the focused youngster has had an impressive time of it.
Proud mum Tara Ruck told the Chronicle, “We’re super proud of all Dylan has achieved, and we’ll continue to support him all the way. Congratulations son, from all the family.”
