A father and son rally crew were recently crowned 'Kings of Down Ampney' and picked up their trophies for being overall winners in the CMSG Stage Rally Championship for the second consecutive year.

Brian and Ian Davis, from Llanvetherine contested the championship last year in their MK 2 Escort and recently picked up their trophies.

Twelve of the 21 trophies awarded were won by Herefordshire Motor Club members, which both father and son are members of.

Another local crew from Abergavenny, father and daughter, Rob and Nicola Davies also collected trophies for finishing first in their class in the championship. The 2015 championship starts at the end of January when Herefordshire Motor Club will be well represented with crews.
