PLAYING in Gwent Bowling League’s Division One, Bailey Park have made an excellent start to the season by wining their first three matches.

A wining hat-trick against Newbridge (51-44), Pontymister Athletic (66-42), and Pontymister Welfare (78-39), have seen the Bailey brigade make the best start to a season in many a moon.

Bailey Park Bowling Club is now in its 92nd year, having been formed in 1924, and is always looking for new members.

Club nights take place from 6pm on Mondays and Wednesdays. The game of bowls is available to all ages, and anyone looking to join can be assured of a warm welcome.
