But Forgeside were on the end of the same scoreline away to Race, an own goal the visitors’ sole consolation.

And Crickhowell 2nds suffered the same final score away to Sebastopol, their team manager red carded and ordered from the side of the pitch in a first half flare up and Taren Hayward with their sole 75th-minute goal.

But Dylan Howard-McCabe hit a hat-trick for Usk Town 2nds as they hit hosts Forgeside 2nds for six in GC2, backed by strikes from Ellis Lewis, Jim Robinson and David Egerton, the hosts' scoring the one consolation through Michael Davies.

Nantyglo 2nds also missed out 3-1 at home to Newbridge Town Development in North Gwent Reserve League One, Aaron Morgan pegging one back deep in stoppage time.

But Glo’s Development won 4-1 at home to Trinant 2nds in midweek, Caleb George Withers with a brace and Morgan and Dylan Edwards one apiece

And Brynmawr Development swatted hosts Pengam 2nds 6-2 in Reserves Two, Lewis Harvey with a hat-trick backed by goals from Luke Davies, Emmanuel Danter and Jordan Morgan.
