NO play took place last week at Usk. Last Thursday’s Macey Cup Game at Newport, Saturday’s League matches against Pontypridd and Sunday’s friendly were all called off without a ball being bowled.

Usk hope for better fortunes with the weather this weekend. On Saturday the firsts travel to Radyr (a 50-over game with play beginning at 12:30pm); while the seconds entertain the same opponents (45 overs per side with play commencing at 1pm). On Sunday, the Athletic Club Ground hosts Wales Ladies v Devon Ladies (Game starts at 11am). On Bank Holiday Monday, Usk travel to Panteg to play a friendly (beginning at 2pm). On Tuesday, Usk host Cardiff MCCU as they take on Cambridge MCCU. Play starts at 11am for this two day game.
