SINCE it was established two years ago Crickhowell Coyotes netball club has gone from strength to strength.
Attracting players from as far as Bridgend, last season saw the senior team win their very first season in the Cwmbran league.
This led the club playing their netball in Division Two where this season they were unbeaten during the first round.
The club also has a new U15 team which has been supported and sponsored by Helen and Tim Adams and their dog Tess from Llangattock Crickhowell. Helen was particularly pleased to see Tess's paw print on each of the girls dresses as a good luck logo.
The young team are also in the Junior Cwmbran league and are doing very well. Talented 16 year old Georgina Wood was selected once again to represent NE Wales U17 team in Malta this March.
Young coach Natalie Davies has also had a brilliant season by coaching the Elite Powys Hub teams and more recently assisting the Wales U19 and the Junior Dragon squads at a national level.
The club are always on the lookout for new players to join the club. They train on a Monday night 7-9pm at Crickhowell School. For more information you can find the Crickhowell Coyotes on Facebook.
