Damian Cole and Paul Morris have been crowned the 2016 MSA National Asphalt Championship winners.

Cole and Morris calmed the throne after winning their third overall victory in a row on Championship rounds in the Get Connected Fiesta WRC at the Patriot Stages in Caerwent.

They won the event by one minute, 16 seconds from John Stone/Ian Davis in their Fiesta S2500. This is Cole’s fourth Patriot Stages win and his sixth National Championship.

The Weaver Motorsport prepared Fiesta ran faultlessly in very varied conditions - everything from heavy rain to blazing sunshine challenged the crew, and the Michelin tyres did a great job keeping the road all the way to a champagne finish!
