SWIMMING sensation Abergavenny Griffiths was back in the pool and making a splash in Luxembourg on the weekend as part of the Swim Wales team who competing in the Euro Meet.

698 athletes from 27 nations competed in the event.

Griffiths swam in the Youth category and although carrying a knee injury, won a Bronze medal in the 50m Freestyle.

Griffiths also came eighth in 100m Backstroke, twelfth in 200m Freestyle, and fourteenth in 100m Freestyle.
