LOCAL lads Joshua Edwards and Monte Squire have both worked very hard this summer to maintain their squad places at Newport County Academy. They successfully completed trials over several weeks and are both looking forward to represent NCFC Academy in the Junior Premier League next season. Edwards, who will represent the U13s has worked his way through the NCFC Development System and into the Academy and is very excited to represent NCFC for his sixth season. Squire, represents the U12s and has also worked his way through the NCFC Development System and into the academy. He is looking to represent NCFC for hi third season. NCFC will compete in the Junior Premier League next year, which is of a very competitive standard.
