A TEAM from Abergavenny TAGB Tae Kwon-Do took part in the Monmouthshire Club Championships and came away with six medals across a variety of events.

Ian Powell achieved silver in Sparring and Patterns, Marie-Clare Lazenby got gold in Sparring and silver in Patterns, Sam Woolfall got a bronze medal in Sparring and Club Instructor Peter Burge won gold in Men’s destruction.

Third Dan black belt instructor Dr Burge said he was immensely proud of what the team had achieved competing against over 150 other fighters.
