USK valley trampoline club recently put on a show of considerable force at the Welsh trampoline grades competition which took place at Cardiff's Welsh institute of sport.

In the largest group of the day, which included 35 entries from clubs scattered across Wales, the U11 grade one champion was nine-year-old Eloise Mustoe with the club's highest score of the competition.

In second place, in her first ever competition was fellow Usk valley member, nine-year-old Grace Walters.

In addition, the U11 'A' team of Eloise Mustoe, Grace Walters, Efa Millin and Jordan Kerr won the gold team medal.

In the U15 grade one section, the champion was 12-year-old Isabel Broadribb, followed by a debut performance from Georgina Fry in second place, and Louise Morgan in third place.

The 'A' team of Isabel Broadribb, Georgina Fry, Louise Morgan and Imogen Marr won the gold medal.

The 'B' team of Niamh Coffey, Alexandra Hill, and Poppy Reynish won the silver medal, and the 'C' team of Elise Blackwell, Hannah Thorne, and Chloe Wilkes won the bronze medal.

In the U15 grade one boys event, Craig Hale took third place.

The club also gained a bronze team medal in the U11 grade H event with members Jade Cork, Lily Gray and Ashleigh Witcombe.

In the U15 grade H boys event, Ryan Milling took second place.

There were many other good placings on the day and for some, disappointment, when routines did not go as planned, especially in the higher grades.

Usk valley senior coach Barbara Digby North was very pleased with the day's results and the extra patience put in by some of the members.
