The speed, agility, and precision of the Red Arrows is a joy to behold, and Chronicle snapper Tim Evans has captured to perfection just how close these daredevils of the sky like to get to one another when entertaining the hordes with their aerobatic antics.
Since 1965, the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, or as they’re more famously known, the Red Arrows, have performed more than 4,660 times across the globe.
Last weekend the magnificent men in their flying machines were doing what they do best at the Wales National Airshow in Swansea.
The Chronicle’s lensman and aviation enthusiast, Tim Evans, was present on the beach as the Red Arrows dashed and dived, weaved and whizzed, and worked their magic in the great blue yonder.
The sky bound heroes also made a perfect heart shape in the sky over Swansea in honour of Chris Coleman’s men outstanding success at Euro 2016.
Tim told the Chronicle, “I’ve taken a fair few snaps of plane sin my time, but I can honestly say this one of the Red Arrows is by far my best.”
