I WRITE on behalf of the Llantilio Pertholey Community Hall (Mardy) Management Committee.

May I thank all of the groups who utilise the hall facilities throughout the year. As a result we are again able to make a financial donation towards the Christmas street lighting in Mardy. 

Two years ago saw the introduction of festive lighting through the village which was extended last Christmas. This year Llantilio Pertholey Community Council has decided to further extend the lighting along the Hereford Road, adjacent to Croesonen Parc, so that every column situated between the Mardy road signs will be included. We are, therefore, delighted to be able to financially assist this extremely popular move by council.
