Harpist Katherine Thomas and violinist Laurence Kempton, both Monmouthshire-based, are delighted to be performing at one of their favourite venues, the Priory Centre in Abergavenny, next Sunday (March 20).
They’re playing a programme of pieces which will include something for everyone - from the bold opening of Kreisler’s Praeludium and Allegro, through Saint-Saens’ haunting Danse Macabre, the much-loved Theme from Ladies in Lavender and the energetic Danses from Bizet’s Carmen.
“We are looking forward to welcoming people of all ages to the concert - from aspiring young musicians, to those who have had a go, and those who are still trying (we include ourselves in that!),” said Katherine.
“We have held several concerts at this venue previously and are very grateful for all the support that we receive there.”
