Police are appealing for witnesses following a violent robbery just off the Hardwick roundabout in Abergavenny.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 37 years old, of muscular build and around 5ft 5in tall. He also has long dark hair and a distinctive facial scar.

During the robbery, a tent was stolen, and the victim suffered injury through assault.

Police have said the offence happened between Friday March 25 and the following day.

PC Jon Sliczny said, “This is a rare incident. The area in which the assault happened is a busy roundabout and we want anyone who has any information no matter how big or small to come forward so we can bring whoever is responsible to justice.”
