Police hunting a man after a teenage girl was approached in Abergavenny last week, said a 35-year-old has been released pending further enquiries.

Police said the incident occurred on Hereford Road on Wednesday, August 23, at around 1.30pm.

A police spokeswoman, said, “We recently appealed for information following a teenage girl being approached by an unknown male along Hereford Road in Abergavenny on Wednesday 23rd August 2017.

“A 35-year-old man from Slough attended a voluntary interview and has been released pending further enquiries.”
