GWENT Police are appealing for information to help find 38-year-old Jane Young who has been reported as missing. 

Jane is from the Brynmawr area and also has connections to Blackwood and Bargoed. 

She was last seen  at around 9pm on May 2 in the Pontllanfraith area of Blackwood but hasn’t been seen since and officers are concerned for her wellbeing. 

Her car, a Black Land Rover Freelander, was found on Islwyn Street in Cwmfelinfach.

Jane is described as being 5’2 in height, of slim build with shoulder length brown curly hair and blue eyes. 

She was last seen wearing a pink dress, black leggings and a black coat. She was also carrying a denim bag which had flowers on it.

“We would ask Jane if she reads this appeal, to let us know she is safe by calling or texting 116 000,” said a police spokesman.
