A BELOVED 13-year-old pet border collie has gone missing from its Brynmawr home.

Billy's owner Terry Williams, from Shoemaker Close, Brynmawr, fears Billy was stolen from his garden.

His brother Derek said, "He was in the garden and when Terry went to call him in for his dinner he had disappeared. It was around 4pm on Sunday."

The family believe Billy, a black and white rescue dog, was stolen because the garden is surrounded by a 6ft tall fence and Billy, who suffers severe arthritis, needs help to get up one step at a time.

"There's no way he got out, we are worried that someone had him and he's not being looked after. He's an old dog and we just want him back home where he belongs," said Mr Williams.

The family are offering a substantial financial reward for any information leading to the recovery or whereabouts of Billy.
