Pupils and parents from Our Lady and St Michael’s Primary School in Abergavenny have been busy making shoeboxes for the Samaritans’ Operation Christmas Child Appeal.
The children were asked to donate a box of gifts suitable for young boys or girls that would be sent to a developing country. A total of 24 boxes were filled.
The school’s Mini Vinnies group (the junior branch of the St Vincent De Paul Society) took the boxes to the Abergavenny branch of Shoezone, from where the boxes will be distributed abroad.
