South Wales’ based holiday cottage company Brecon Beacons Holiday Cottages is run by a team of locals passionate about preserving one of Wales’ biggest natural assets.

The self-catering specialists remain committed to supporting the Brecon Beacons Mountain Rescue Team by encouraging customers to donate £1 when booking. As part of this continued commitment to the local area, cottage owner Rowland Jepson has donated a whole weeks booking cost to the rescue service.

"At Brecon Beacons Holiday Cottages we are keen to support the local economy and help provide the best possible knowledge to customers. By working with the Brecon Mountain Rescue team we are able to ensure our customers have all the essential information to explore the area whilst staying safe. It is services like Brecon Mountain Rescue that help the local area thrive and we believe it is important to give something back to them,” Director Liz Daniels stated.

Rowland Jepson presented the cheque, for a sum of £490, to Brecon Mountain Rescue with the donation going towards volunteer training and kit.

This donation comes as part of Brecon Beacons Holiday Cottages’ mission to encourage other cottage owners to also show their support by donating.
