DURING the month of March Usk Vets are offering a free healthy heart check for your dog.
With heat disease affecting around 15 per cent of dogs in the UK, the vets and nurses at Usk Vets feel strongly that prevention is better than cure.
The initial signs of heart disease can go unnoticed, early detection can help ensure a better quality and longer life for your dog.
During your dogs free healthy heart check, one of the dedicated small animal vets will discuss any changes in your dogs normal behaviour, listen to your dog's heart and will discuss with you what signs to look our for and what you can do to help your dog stay healthy.
