FOUR people have been injured in a collision on Gypsy Lane between Llanfoist and Llanellen.

Emergency services were called to the scene at around 11pm on Tuesday night and used cutting equipment to free two rear seat passengers, who are understood to both be 17 year old. The two front seat passengers were able to free themselves from the car.

The road was closed for several hours while investigations took place but re-opened at around 5am on Wednesday.

Gwent Police is appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision to call 101 quoting log number 502.
