Final rehearsals are underway for the Abergavenny Pantomime Company’s annual show which this year is Snow White.

Pantomime Secretary Geraint Webb said rehearsals were going well and the whole team was very much looking forward to a first class production providing top entertainment for all ages.

The company has been rehearsing since the beginning of September 2016. The pantomime opens at the Borough Theatre, Abergavenny next Monday. The cast includes Ken Jones as Dame Norma, Molly Brickley-Clark as the evil Queen Malodorus and Honey McKenna as Snow White.

It has always been the company’s policy to support charitable causes and anyone buying a ticket to watch Snow White is able to make a small donation to the ‘Better Life Appeal’ which supports Llandough Hospital’s All Wales Adult Cystic Fibrosis Centre.

It is the only Cystic Fibrosis centre in Wales caring for more than 250 patients. At present patients are using a centre where facilities are sometimes shared, leading to the risk of cross infection.

The charity is raising additional funds to open a new wing at the hospital which will be equipped with extra beds, specialist gym and other state of the art facilities.

You can see Snow White at the Borough Theatre from Monday February 20 to Saturday 25 February 25, with two matinees on Friday and Saturday.

Tickets can be purchased from the Box Office on 01873 850805 or from the Borough Theatre website, priced from £5 to £7.50.
