HERE'S an early delivery for ewe.

Meet Ruby, aged seven months, her mum Rachel McDonough and a very early lamb, born just last month.

Rachel was shocked when one of the three ewes given to Ruby as a gift when she was born gave birth last month.

"They were a present to Ruby and we couldn't believe it when a lamb was born so early!" she said.

There was nothing sheepish about this early delivery, "Now Ruby has her own lamb," added mum Rachel.
