ABERGAVENNY martial artists recently represented Wales and used feet and fists of fire, fury and skill to pick up an impressive haul of medals at the 2011 ITS British Championships.
Members from Abergavenny Martial Arts Club and Page Family Tae Kwon Do jointly entered the
Kidderminster event to represent Team Wales.
Instructors Brennen Page, Steve Harris and Daniel Nation were on hand to coach and help the students through the events with Harris taking part in the continuous sparring competition.
Out of a total of 300 martial artists, Team Wales walked away 40 medals, including six gold, and a handful of new ITS British Champions to their name.
The competition was intense and overall Team England won the prestigious Team Points event with Scotland second and Wales a close third. Other events included singles continuous, singles points, patterns and junior and senior Team Points.

Rhys Jones, (one bronze), Richie Evans, Dylan Havard, Steve Harris, Armin Wavey and Aaron Watkins.
