A pensioner from Ebbw Vale who had been reported as missing has been found safe and well, police have confirmed.

Marshall Jones, 78, hadn’t been seen for over 36 hours during the warmest days of the year so far when a red weather warning for extreme heat was enforced.

Late night, officers confirmed the good news they had located the pensioner.
