RESIDENTS of Crickhowell are being given the chance to have their say with the launch of the Crickhowell Town Council Community Plan Questionnaire.
A paper copy of the questionnaire will be delivered to every home in Crickhowell over the next week and the questionnaire will also be available on the Town Council website www.crickhowelltowncouncil.org.uk.
The Mayor of Crickhowell Town Council, Ann Jeremiah said, “This questionnaire is your opportunity to make your voices heard to influence future development in our town. We want to know what residents like about their town, what they don’t and what they think should be done to improve both the good and bad things.
“We have worked with some community groups and held a very successful open day in May 2015 to put together the key issues in the questionnaire, and we need as many people as possible to participate. The more people take part and the more feedback we get, the better chance we have of identifying the real priorities of our community.”
The questionnaires need to be completed by March 13 and can be returned to a number of community locations. The answers will then be evaluated and compiled to help Crickhowell Town Council and local community groups produce a plan of action and gather evidence of community need.
The production of the questionnaires have been funded by a grant from the Sustainable Development Fund, for more information about the aims of the fund go to www.beacons-npa.gov.uk.
