An elderly driver escaped with minor injuries after his car overturned on Old Market Street in Usk early on Wednesday evening.

The car, a Mazda, crashed into four stationary vehicles before coming to rest on its roof.

The driver was helped out of the car and looked after by residents until police, ambulances and the fire service arrived.

The accident happened at around 6.25pm.
