FORMER employees of Abergavenny’s Angel Hotel are planning a staff reunion and have launched an appeal for ex staff to get in touch.

Margaret Dodd and Martin Brown have now launched a Facebook Page to try and locate others who are by now scattered far and wide and are aiming to bring as many Angel veterans as possible together on October 5-6.

Anyone who worked at the Angel Hotel in the 1980s under the leadership of Frank McCarthy will be welcome to come along to the event, which will start with an informal get together and buffet at Abergavenny Rugby Club followed by an opportunity to re-visit old haunts on Saturday and some time at the Angel in the afternoon.

Organisers state that more details are still work in progress but it would be great if people could get in touch if they’re interested so they can get a feel for numbers.
