LOCAL band 'Story to be Told' organised a charity event at the Hog's Head recently and raised a grand total of £1,755.
With Story to be Told and Adam Tipping rocking the rafters and whipping the crowd up into a frenzy, Headline act Fourth Street Traffic took proceedings to another level and ended a night to remember in high style.
All money raised will be donated to a local Downs Syndrome charity and Story to be Told would like to thank Graham and Dale, the owners of the Hogs Head, for allowing them the use of their premises free of charge.
The band would also like to thank all the local businesses who donated prizes in support of the raffle which took place on the night, Office Services for all their help and support, Barry the DJ, and all their friends and family who kindly supported the event.
Story to be Told have entered a competition to win a chance to play with pop band McFly.
The guys need as many votes as possible to reach the top 50 and would be very grateful if the local community would get behind them.
