THE sky really is the limit for Abergavenny athlete Amy Bradley who is reaching for the stars in her chosen sporting discipline of long and triple jump.
Amy, who is a year 11 student at King Henry VIII Comprehensive, rose head and shoulders above the competition to win the long jump category at the recent Blaenau Gwent Championships with a leap of faith that stretched to four metres and 94 centimetres.
Amy soared to further success when she won the triple jump at the same meet with a distance of ten metres and 76 centimetres.
Amy took her winning form to another level at the County Athletic Championships where she won the long jump in a vault of four metres and 85 centimetres and the triple jump with a bound of 10 metres and 12 centimetres.
Amy then scaled further heights and went on to triumph at the East Wales Championships where she won the triple jump in a distance of ten metres and 23 centimetres, and came second in the long jump after covering four metres and 89 centimetres.
