MEMBERS of AAODS Juniors are making the final preparations for their forthcoming show “Hairspray Jr and Musical Showcase”.

The musical showcase section of the evening is providing these talented youngsters with a platform to show their astounding performing skills. One of the young people featured is Millie Vaughan, aged 11 who was recently invited along to audition for the Voice UK Kids after the producers saw a recording of her singing.

The auditions were held in Cardiff where Millie had to sing two songs of her choice. Millie sang Man in the Mirror and Don’t Kill my vibe for the judges and is currently at stage B of the competition and waiting for the results to see if she will be invited to London for the next round of auditions.

Meanwhile another AAODS member Zoe Hughes, who plays Motormouth Maybelle in “Hairspray Jr”, is busily preparing her singing audition for Britain’s Got Talent later this month.

The lucky people of Abergavenny don’t have to wait to see if they make it through, they can come and see both of them performing next week at the Borough Theatre.
