Filming has taken place for the black and white film section of 'Singin' in the Rain' which AAODS are performing at Abergavenny Borough Theatre from April 21 to 25.

Most people seem to recall the dancing in the rain sequence but don't realise the show deals with the transition from black and white, silent movies to the early talking pictures and all the problems encountered in those early days. This was especially so when the big stars voices were not as nice as their looks and technology didn't always get the voice to match with the picture – with hilarious consequences!

Under the direction of Deborah Harrington, the show has lots of humour as well as fabulous dancing.

Besides the renowned 'Singin' in the Rain' other wonderful songs such as 'Good Morning', 'Beautiful Girls', 'Moses Supposes', 'Make 'Em Laugh' and 'Broadway Melody' fill the show with life...and umbrellas!!
