Gwent Police are warning Usk residents about cold callers who have been knocking on doors along Monmouth Road trying to sell paintings between 7pm and 9pm in the evening.

The men involved are described as being Asian and carrying large bags.

They knock on the doors repeatedly then ask to be allowed in to show their paintings.
