Gwent Police are looking for thieves who stole a green ’Gator’ 4x4 from Llanvetherine on January 23.

They’d like to hear from anyone living locally who saw anything suspicious, has CCTV on their premises or has been offered a Gator for sale.

The log number relating to the theft is 1700029356.

Meanwhile, a male has been arrested in relation to a stolen hedge cutter from an Usk farm.

Enquiries are still ongoing but police want to say a big ‘thank you’ to the farmer, who had the foresight to put a tracker in the item after recent thefts.

The tracker was activated and the stolen item found in Newport. The man is due in court in February.
