GWENT Police has issued CCTV footage of two men they would like to speak to following an incident in which a man was assaulted during Abergavenny Food Festival.

The local man needed hospital treatment to a head wound following the attack in Nevill Street’s Get Together bistro on the evening of Saturday September 15 as the Abergavenny Food Festival was in full swing.

??A spokeswoman for Gwent Police said, “At approximately 7:50pm on September 15 2018, we received reports of an assault on Nevill Street in Abergavenny.

“The altercation involved three men. One received treatment at Nevill Hall Hospital for his injuries, which were not life threatening. Enquiries are ongoing.”??Anyone with information regarding this incident can contact police on 101.
