Park Road in Abergavenny is currently closed between Frogmore Street and Judd Bros car garage with diversions in place which which may cause congestion.

Gwent Police are urging drivers to avoid the area if possible and find alternative routes for journeys through town.

Local eyewitnesses suggest a van has overturned and is blocking the road.
