Gwent Police are appealing for information following a burglary on Castle Parade in Usk.

The offence occurred some time between 8am on Friday June 17 and 3pm on Sunday June 19.

Entry was forced into the property by extensive damage to windows.

A safe containing money and sentimental jewellery was stolen from the elderly victim.
