LAST Sunday Abergavenny’s youngest team headed to Bridgend to take part in another of their monthly tournaments.

Abergavenny managed to avoid the rain but battled through the cold and wind to put in an excellent performance.

They had a slow start and unfortunately lost their first few games. However, knowing they could do better Abergavenny worked out what they were doing wrong and managed to put it right.

They worked hard for one another, displaying some great defensive skills and scoring lots of goals in their last three matches to secure the wins.

The club would like to thank both parents and coaches for making these tournaments happen. 

Abergavenny U9s train on a Tuesday evening between 6:30-7:30pm and are always welcoming new players. More information can be found on their website.
