IN late February Verve Wales sent a 25 strong squad to compete in Kidderminster at a Champions League Series.

The squad consisted of students from Abergavenny, Brecon, Chepstow and Monmouth, ranging in age from five upwards, some of whom, competing for the first time, had exceptional success.

The outstanding medal haul saw the team come away with 17 gold, eight silver and six bronze medals.

Club directors Leigh Haslett and Lisa Knight-Davies expressed their delight and pride in all the students and instructors.
