USK teenager, Anna Leeke, has been selected for the Welsh Netball Talent Centre at Under-17 level.

Anna, a goal shooter, plays netball for the school’s first team in the Wye Valley League, represents South-East Wales and her club, Newport.

The Welsh Netball Talent Centres are designed to identify and develop potential future national squad players.

Anna also plays hockey for the school and represents Gwent. The Year 10 pupil is also a keen lacrosse player who represents the school.
