IN an age where top-flight football is often associated with rampant greed and defined by a
player's loyalty to his bank balance as opposed to his club, it's refreshing to see things working differently at the grassroots level of the beautiful game.
Pictured above are Mikeal Woodhouse, Ben Woodward and Aaron Marfel who all started playing for the Mardy at the tender age of six and have stayed true to the club throughout all the blood, sweat, tears, and bookings.
Now playing for the U18 Gwent County team, the three Mardy musketeers continue to put on the black and red and campaign for the Mardy cause.
We can safely say, after growing up and battling week in and week out in the Mardy colours, this tenacious trio have earned their stripes and gone the distance, especially in light of all the coaches and managers they must have had to to endure over the years.
Well done lads and keep up the good work!
