The second round of the prestigious Cyclo-Cross National Trophy Series in Abergavenny will be shown live on S4C this Sunday.
With cycling growing rapidly in popularity due in part to the remarkable success of Welsh cyclists such as Geraint Thomas, Owain Doull, Luke Rowe, Elinor Barker and Becky James, this is an opportunity to see one of the most exciting events on the British cycling calendar.
The live broadcast will focus mainly on the two headline races of the afternoon, the Women’s and Men’s elite races, but there will also be highlights of other races held in different categories over the weekend.
Join Geraint Hardy as the cyclists manoeuvre their way around the challenging Abergavenny Park course, with experienced downhill racer Emyr Davies on hand to analyse the action.
And a visit to Abergavenny wouldn’t be complete without a profile of David James and his daughters Becky, Ffion and Megan - a family who are synonymous with cycling and who have achieved so much locally, nationally and on the world stage.
English sound-track available via the red button on Sky, Freeview or Virgin Media. Freesat viewers should use the audio selection option.
Coverage starts at 1.30pm.
