2010 Team GMF Wyedean Forest Rally winner Steve Perez, from Chesterfield, has entered this year's event in his classic Lancia Stratos.

The iconic car, which dates from 1974, will arrive in Chepstow fresh from a visit to the bodyshop following a roll during testing for a recent Historic Rally in Norway which Perez and co-driver Staffan Parmander went on to win!

With Raglan's Paul Spooner, who partnered Perez to his Wyedean victory, installed in the co-driver's seat, the pair realise that they are unlikely to be in contention for another outright victory, but will nevertheless be strong contenders for the Historic category in which they are entered this time.

Running between the 1400cc cars and those in the 'open' category on the Wyedean, the Stratos will be joined by a plethora of Mark I and Mark II Ford Escorts of varying engine capacities, plus a couple of Volvo Amazons and the Datsun 240Z of Robert Close.
