DUE to the adverse weather conditions, sports fans had to improvise last weekend in a frantic bid to get some exercise in.

Some picked up their shovels, some took to their sleighs, some threw snowballs and some just built statues out of snow and wept as they melt.

Other took advantage of the white stuff to practice the lost art of the frisbee throw - with a little help from their canine companions.

Asked if he was having fun frolicking in the snow, Tommy barked, “Of course I am chump. Believe it or not I used to be Snow White, but I drifted.” Boom! Boom!
