CROSS Ash’s Hallam Amos has been selected for Wales’ rugby World Cup training squad.

Wing Hallam, a former Head Boy at Monmouth School for Boys, plays for Dragons and has been chosen for the preparations for Japan 2019.

Head Coach, Warren Gatland, has named 42 players for the training camps in Switzerland and Turkey and will then cut 11 for the tournament.

Wales will play warm-up Tests against England and Ireland before opening their World Cup against Georgia in Toyota on Monday 23rd September before group games with Australia, Fiji and Uruguay.
